Larry Taylor has deep roots here in the community and at ReyNaz! His grandmother, Esther Taylor, would bring him and his two sisters to Sunday School starting back in the early 1970's. Larry graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 1983. Soon after, Larry met his wife Debbie and got married in 1987. While trusting and leaning on the Lord, Larry and Debbie have raised two wonderful children. In 2015, they found themselves called back to ReyNaz. What started as an Open Gym Basketball Program 7 years ago has became "Basketball Church" and ReyNaz’s 2nd service. Now serving as pastor of Basketball Church, Larry says the mission statement is simple, "Just show up! If we simply show up and share the love of God to each young man and young woman that come through those gym doors, God will speak, barriers will be broken, and lives will be changed. Basketball Church is certainly a "God thing!" You are encouraged to come visit and see all the cool things God can do when we say "Yes" to His calling.”
Larry has a secular job in sales. When he's not working or pastoring Basketball Church, Larry loves to golf with his son Brock and daughter Kelsey and get together for "laughs" with his friends.
